CHAPS live at Buffalo Rouge Brewing Co.

Alberta-born, California-based queer singer-songwriter CHAPS returns to the Okanagan in support of his debut album, In All Directions. 7-9 PM at Buffalo Rouge Brewing Co., no cover!

Blending the textures of traditional country and western with folk pop, post-emo indie, and more, CHAPS tells finely detailed stories about place, belonging, and landscape that stretch from the Rocky Mountain foothills to the streets and dance floors of Los Angeles.

Attuned to the vibrant folkways of contemporary queer life, his songs dwell in the places in-between. Delicate and closely observed, they help us to see the bigness of small feelings and richness of dark corners.

Bee Delores of Rainbow Rodeo calls In All Directions "bedeviling," a series of "body-altering character studies" that "practically jolts the skeletal system."
