ETCETERA YOUTH GROUP
Etcetera is a weekly, facilitated program where youth ages 11-14 and 15-18 who identify as LGBT2Q+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Questioning, 2 Spirit, Intersex, Pansexual…etcetera) and their allies can meet supportive peers in a safe environment.
We do social activities, hold special events, conduct empowerment and healthy relationship discussions, and engage other areas of interest for our young people.

EDUCATION & ADVOCACY
Building relationships, fostering allyship and connecting with the community is paramount to advancing the Pride movement. The Kelowna Pride Society works with professionally-trained mental health facilitators in a variety of outreach activities—community group presentations, gender and literacy training for the workplace, and facilitating requests for LGBT2Q+ resources and materials.
We also provide representation at community advocacy events. Interested in a workshop or presentation? Looking for KPS representation at an event?
