Kelowna’s second annual Queer Zine Fair, hosted by Kelowna Museums and the University of British Columbia Okanagan Library. We're excited to be back at the beautiful Laurel Packinghouse after the success and enthusiasm last year!
This is an all-ages & sober event
Zines have been a powerful underground and DIY force of expression and cultural movement in the 2SLGBTQIA+ community since the ‘70s. Newbies are invited to come learn more!
At 8:15 PM, the fair will be followed by an open mic where attendees or exhibitors will be invited to further share their creativity. Sign up at the event to share spoken word, music, comedy, or read passages from your zines aloud.
Exhibitors interested in a booth can apply for free.
