Business Excellence Award Finalist

October 3, 2019 - Kelowna Pride was nominated for two Business Excellence Award's with the Kelowna Chamber of Commerce in Arts and Entertainment and Not-for-Profit Excellence.

On October 3, Kelowna Pride became a finalist for the Arts and Entertainment category. The Awards will be announced November 1.

President of Kelowna Pride Blake Edwards was thrilled with the news:

"It is always exciting to be recognized for the fruit of our labour. Our organization has really changed in the last year, and our Pride Festival became the second largest in the province. Even being recognized as a finalist is fantastic news. We wouldn't be able to do the things that we do without the support of our 100+ volunteers and the community."
