Sugarplum Ball returns

The much sought after queerest event for straight people is returning for it's fourth iteration - but this time as part of Kelowna Pride's newest event: OUT in the Valley.

In 2015, Mayor Colin Basran was crowned "Mayor Sugarplum" after approving the city's first rainbow crosswalk. Baran's acceptance led to the creation of the Sugarplum Ball, which strives to celebrate and embrace diversity in our community.

This year, Kelowna Pride and BC Wine, Cider and Spirits Festival will be hosting the 4th Sugarplum Ball on November 23 at the Downtown Okanagan Regional Library.

Tickets start at $42 and can be purchased here: kelownapride.com/outinthevalley
